We are proudly the official transport providers to Starlight Cruises since 1996.
 

The cost of a shuttle is R70 per person one way and includes passenger liability insurance of R10 million. Shuttles must first convey passengers from the harbour to the airport before we are allowed to transfer passengers from the airport to the harbour. Please note! We suggest that if you are arriving on an early flight, that you also book tickets to visit Ushaka Marine World at R60 per person. The Ushaka  transfer departs Durban Airport at 08h00 and then again as the vehicles arrive from the harbour. Once you arrive at the Durban airport, you will be met by a Starlight Shuttle Representative. She will direct you to the Starlight Cruises hospitality desk, where we will check that you have your cabin tags on your bags, and then be transported on the first available shuttle. Please note: You DO NOT need to be in a rush to get to the harbour! We will only start boarding passengers around 11h00. Our contracted Tour Operators all have passenger liability insurance. R100 million for coaches and R10 million for small combis and sprinters. This means that in the unlikely event of an accident, you are fully covered. Government requires that we only insure for R1 million - We insist on offering better! All drivers have public driving licences. I heard someone say..."Why bother taking the Starlight Shuttle? Maybe we can find other ways of getting to the harbour" ! Yes indeed! There are other ways! However, look at the differences: With a Starlight Shuttle you will get priority check in (like Business Class) ONLY PRE-BOOKED Starlight Shuttle passengers have this privilege. As long as you are at the airport by 13h00 we guarantee that you will make your cruise. If you are on your own 'steam' the ship will not wait for you! We handle your luggage from the airport to the harbour where new rules there dictate that you have to personally check your luggage in. If you arrive in a car, or your own coach, you will NOT be allowed to park in the security area at the port! This means that you will have to cart your own luggage a few hundred meters to the baggage counter! Coach groups please note: If you require permission to park in the security areas, you need to pay a fee of R250 per coach per trip - This can be purchased by emailing inf...@touringsa.net. (click on the blue dots to email us) There are no parking fees if you are on the shuttle. To park a car will cost you R65 per day. If it rains, Starlight Shuttle Passengers can board the bus under cover. If you are under your own 'steam' you will have to walk a fair distance with all your luggage in the rain!
